  2. AT THE OFFICE USER'S GUIDE
  3. --------------------------
  4. All documentation assumes you have a basic understanding of how to use your computer 
  5. and the programs you have purchased for it.
  6.   
  7. NOTICE: This CD is Windows 95/NT and Macintosh OS compatible only.

  9. Important information about this CD:

  11. All Artworks images (thumbnails) are contained in the catalog "Office.fdb" it can be
  12. viewed by using the Extensis Portfolio Browser contained on this CD. 
  13.  
  14. All documentation for the Extensis Portfolio Browser is in PDF format
  15. ("Portfolio 3.0 Browser QSG.pdf") which requires the installation of the Adobe
  16. Acrobat Reader.  However, the Adobe Acrobat Reader is not required to view the
  17. Artworks Catalogs.

  20. BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  21. ------------------
  22. At The Office images require application(s) that are compatible with TIF and/or EPS 
  23. file formats.  The TIF images are saved as TIF files in Adobe Photoshop.  EPS images 
  24. are saved using Adobe Photoshop as Photoshop EPS files.  Any other hardware 
  25. requirements will be based primarily on the applications you use and the type of final 
  26. output you plan to produce.

  28. The 90 different illustrations in this collection are each provided in two image sizes and
  29. formatting combinations. They are grouped in folders and differentiated by file name as follows:

  31. Low resolution files:
  32. EPS file format, CMYK color, 72 dpi, naming convention 001ATL01.EPS
  33.  
  34. High resolution files:
  35. EPS file format, CMYK color, 266 dpi, naming convention 001ATH01.EPS
  36.  
  37. Cast shadow files:
  38. TIFF file format, grayscale, 266 dpi, LZW compression, naming convention 001ATC01.tif
  39.  
  40. Drop shadow files:
  41. TIFF file format, grayscale, 266 dpi, LZW compression, naming convention 001ATD01.tif

  43. USING THE ARTWORK ON THIS CD
  44. ----------------------------
  45. PAGE LAYOUT PROGRAMS:
  46. Open your page layout program.  Create a new document and PLACE the TIF and/or EPS 
  47. files as you would any other images. The following page layout programs are 
  48. compatible with the TIF and EPS formats:
  49.  - Adobe PageMaker
  50.  - QuarkXPress
  51.  
  52. PAINT PROGRAMS:
  53. The TIF and EPS files can be manipulated like any other bitmap images in the following 
  54. programs:
  55.  - Adobe Photoshop
  56.  - Corel PHOTO-PAINT
  57.  
  58. If your application was not listed above, please refer to your manual for 
  59. compatibility.
